If there are no injuries, drive your vehicle to a safe area. Call 9-1-1 immediately if anyone has been injured. Exchange your names, addresses, insurance company names, policy numbers and driver’s license numbers. Obtain the names and contact information of any witnesses. It is also recommended to take photos of all vehicles involved as well as the location and surroundings of the collision for future reference.

Contact your insurance company to initiate a claim. Have your insurance papers, driver’s license, a note pad, and a pen handy. Once you have been given a claim number, call 604-552-5300 to book an appointment for an inspection at your nearest Kirmac.

In most cases, we can provide you with a replacement vehicle. You must be 19 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a credit card. Your credit card won’t be charged and will only be used for security purposes. If you require a larger vehicle, we can arrange the rental if you have purchased loss-of-use coverage in your insurance policy.

Once you drop off your vehicle, Kirmac will take care of the insurance relations. We will work closely with your insurance company and provide them with all the information they need to process your claim.

The amount of time it takes Kirmac to repair your vehicle depends on a number of variables. Once our Damage Analysis specialists have inspected your vehicle and confirmed the repair plan including availability of required replacement parts, we will be able to provide you with an estimated completion date.

Choosing Kirmac to repair your vehicle does not affect the manufacturer warranty. Kirmac’s Lifetime Guarantee covers the repairs we conduct on your vehicle for as long as you own your vehicle. Any of the parts we replace are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

If you are at fault in the accident or are making a comprehensive claim, you are responsible for paying the deductible amount stated in your insurance policy. Even if you are not at fault, you may be required to pay the deductible until liability is completely resolved. Once complete, your insurance company will reimburse you.

Wash fresh paint by hand with mild soap and water. Be sure to rinse off as much dirt as possible with a water hose before washing the panels using a soft cloth. Kirmac recommends not waxing or applying sealant products for at least three months after your vehicle has been painted.
