If there are no injuries, drive your vehicle to a safe area. Call 9-1-1 immediately if anyone has been injured. Exchange your names, addresses, insurance company names, policy numbers and driver’s license numbers. Obtain the names and contact information of any witnesses. It is also recommended to take photos of all vehicles involved as well as the location and surroundings of the collision for future reference.

If you are at fault in the accident or are making a comprehensive claim, you are responsible for paying the deductible amount stated in your insurance policy. Even if you are not at fault, you may be required to pay the deductible until liability is completely resolved. Once complete, your insurance company will reimburse you.
Wash fresh paint by hand with mild soap and water. Be sure to rinse off as much dirt as possible with a water hose before washing the panels using a soft cloth. Kirmac recommends not waxing or applying sealant products for at least three months after your vehicle has been painted.
