Customer Service Specialist Job Opportunity

Kirmac is looking for a professional and proactive individual that thrives in a fun, dynamic and busy work environment. Qualified individuals will have excellent communication skills (both spoken and written English) and be comfortable carrying conversations on the phone.

The primary function of the Customer Service Representative is interacting with new and past Kirmac customers via phone and/or email. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

  • Manage incoming calls
  • Schedule customers for appointments
  • Resolve concerns and questions
  • Data entry which includes preparing and entering low cost repair estimates
  • Increase business by actively identifying the needs and requirements of prospective customers
  • Maintain filing system for all customer repairs
  • Completing the end of day procedures, including closing off the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Conduct post-repair follow-ups and surveys
  • Assist other departments and locations during low call volume periods
  • General administrative duties


  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate proficiency using MS Office
  • Valid Driver’s License is preferred
  • Previous office administrative experience is an asset
  • Comfortable using software programs simultaneously
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer service focused environment
  • Comfortable handling high-volume of calls during peak period
  • Capability to build relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize amongst multiple assignments and tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the collision repair industry is an asset but not a required
