“When we started this program in 2011, we set a five-year goal to raise one million dollars for BC Children’s Hospital,” said Kirmac CEO Ian McIntosh. “Now that we have accomplished that goal, we’re setting a new goal to raise half a million per year going forward. It’s an ambitious target but we’re going to do it.”

Donations from the Kirmac Cares for Kids Program are used to support the purchase of life-saving equipment, research into the treatment, prevention, and cure of childhood diseases, recruitment, and educational programs for caregivers, and programs in communities throughout the province.

“I would like to thank our employees, suppliers and customers for their support over the past five years,” added McIntosh. “Without their contributions we wouldn’t have reached this milestone for a great cause.”

Kirmac Collision & Autoglass, a B.C. owned and operated collision and auto glass repair company for over 40 years, currently operates 14 service repair locations throughout the Lower Mainland. In the coming months, Kirmac will open new locations in Richmond and North Vancouver.
