Hello! I have procrastinated on this review as I prefer not to spread negativity. This is my/our honest assessment of… Kirmac the one time we have had repairs with them.1. Great Communication2. Easy to set up a replacement vehicle3. Open & honest4. Slow on repairs (due only to reduced distribution/part availability 2021)5. They did an extra service for us for the wait (buffed out the other headlight so it didn’t look like a frankenstein car with 1 new headlight, and 1 old one – so grateful)But.. although we got our car back and the damage was fully repaired and repaired well.. our electrical for locking&unlocking the car is not the same. its quirky now where is wasn’t before. we did mention to them, and they said it is the same which is fine, I believe they honestly didn’t notice a difference but with it being our regular commuter car we did notice. Also, our fog lights were burnt out, both sides and we have no idea how that would happen but they are black after the service – we did not mention this to them.Otherwise we were very grateful to take our vehicle to such an honest and down to earth company – they honestly did everything they could to get our vehicle finished in good time and it was so clean when we received 🙂read more

My skid plate came off and was scraping the ground when i was driving and James got me in right away when I called and… reattached it for me free of charge so I could drive normally until I had a chance to fully replace it. Would give 0 stars, wasted my day off and couldn’t get a 30 minute rock chip repair done.Called in and booked an… appointment at 3 to get a chip repaired that should have taken 30 minutes. The new guy couldn’t get the insurance stuff done right away on his computer, so I offered to come back in half an hour or so.30 minutes later, got a call from the guy and asked for more details about a previous chip repair. I asked at the time if they can get it fixed today and the guy said yes. At 3:50 PM, the person called me back and said the technician is booked up for the day and could not fit me in.So I wasted an hour for Tyler to figure out my insurance stuff only to be told I need to return at a later date. Wasting an hour for nothing, and now I’ll need to find somewhere else to get it fixed today.If you need a chip repaired, forget this place and head 2 minutes down the street to PJ glass. Friendlier and faster service.read more

My boyfriend went here to fix his car after experiencing a hit and run. It took two weeks longer than estimated and… they originally stated that the claim was $2,000. However after having to call in multiple times they informed us that they found damage that was previously not there and that the claim is now $3,200. They damaged the car. This is unacceptable and I would suggest staying away from this business.read more

They did an incredible job not just on the windshield but on customer service. They took care of the ICBC process… thoroughly, they called when it was ready (a bit early), they were on time and the cleaning inside the car was really, really thoroughly and professionally done. I got a quote over email sending in pictures. I then took my car into finalize the quote. It came back double what was… stated in the email. They said they couldn’t tell that it was damage to the front and back in the pictures, but I think it was pretty obvious.It is pretty difficult for me to take time out of the middle of the day to end up getting a quote that is much higher than competing auto shops in the area. They said they wouldn’t negotiate. All in all pretty inconvenient and a waste of time.Their formatting of their quote is unclear.read more

Right from the initial inspection until I picked my… car up (A week early, I might add!!), they let me know what was going to happen, a rough cost and how long it was going to take.They were personable, not pushy, funny and honest. I had my jeep in here for repairs and I was very impressed with the service as well as the staff. The receptionist lady… who handles all the paper work and bookings was very friendly and personable. My jeep was finished in a timely matter, I was provided a rental car, and my jeep looked so clean not only on the outside but the inside which I wasn’t expecting at all! I had my dad’s vehicle repaired after collision, which had aftermarket devices. They had to remove and reinstall these… as part of the required repair paid by ICBC. But they screwed up all the electronics in the vehicle as it had been draining battery. They never cared to fix the problems properly and claimed the problems were not theirs to fix. Had to remove all these devices by a different mechanic but am still left with messed up wiring. NEVER trust these people! You will be left with nothing but more headaches down the road!read more

Kirmac Collision has been my go to place for collision repair for about the last 10 years or so. It’s nice to have a… place you can count on when you’re already stressed about having an accident. Yesterday when pulling into a parking spot, my front bumper got speared by a bolt sticking out of the parking block so of course when I exited half my bumper came unhinged. Called for an appointment rock chip repair, for 1230, got to the shop at 1220 and waited 10 mins before anyone was… available at desk. The person I delt with had no clue how to charge me for the rock chip through my insurance, he took my insurance paperwork to make a quote, 10 mins now past my appointment he came back to say the tech just started lunch and won’t be back and I will either have to wait or come back. He then told me I should have come sooner… Which I tried to do, but the call center I spoke with told me 1230 was their first available time.Why the hell bother to have an appointment system if you don’t follow it.
